Partners in Arts and Education Revitalizing Schools

The goal of the PARTNERS® program is to strengthen student learning in the areas of literacy, the arts and intercultural competency, using the arts as a sparkplug to learning in the classroom. The program is based on the proven premise that the arts can energize learning, provide a deeper understanding of ideas and develop critical thinking skills in young people. An artistic partner, either working directly in the classroom or presenting to a grade level assembly, uses literature, along with their art form (i.e. music, theatre, dance, poetry, creative writing, storytelling, puppetry) to present the PARTNERS unit.
